 a HOT MESS!!!

THANK GOD
FOR HAIR COLOR!

DAY 25
LUNCHTIME

CHRISTMAS BRUNCH
Speaking of tradition, this sausage casserole has been part of my life every Christmas since I can remember. My granny Green would have it as one of her side dishes at her Christmas morning feasts with all my cousins. But since we don't eat meat I have changed up the recipe with Morning Star sausage. I swear it's good. And let's be real when anything is drowned in sharp cheese IT IS AWESOME!

John John asked for REAL BACON,
and a Foosball table for Christmas. LMAO!!
 He is NOT a vegetarian!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

DAY 24
TRADITION/something you always do

LUMINARIAS are a New Mexican staple each holiday season.
They are magical and since we have lived here I have always wanted to have them and starting this year we decided to add it to our list of Christmas traditions. I LOVE THEM.

DAY 17
ON THE FLOOR

I COULD NOT HAVE PLANNED IT ANY BETTER!
I came home from running errands today to find shredded wrapping paper and an almost open box ON THE FLOOR!
While cleaning up I found pieces of the gift tag that read
 "To: Hannah, From: Marezy".
After cleaning up all the paper I re-wrapped Hannah's present. I think it is safe to say that there must be something tasty in there since NONE of the other presents under the tree had been touched! LOL (p.s. I'm pretty sure I know what it is, and Hannah is going to be carrying it around for months!)

DAY 16
SOMETHING YOU CREATED

 MY QUOTE JOURNALS
I did a ton of writing, praying, observing myself , and LISTENING to my spirit in Guatemala over 15 years ago. I was always jotting down my awareness's I had during the day. And copying down other quotes I had seen or heard that I knew had to be a part of my journals. There were so many miracles that took place there I will forever be humbled. And ironically none of them had to do with the religion. It was ALL SPIRITUAL. Here are 3 of those sweet reminders that even today when I read them my spirit firmly, and joyfully says, "YES!".

DAY 15
OUTDOORS
This is how I prefer to do the out doors!

I AM SO IN LOVE WITH GREEN

DAY 14
SOMETHING GREEN

Green is the color of nature, fertility, life. Grass green is the most restful color. Green symbolizes self-respect and well being. Green is the color of balance. It also means learning, growth and harmony. Green is a safe color, if you don't know what color to use anywhere use green.
Green is favored by well balanced people. Green symbolizes the master healer and the life force. It often symbolizes money. It was believed green was healing for the eyes. Egyptians wore green eyeliner. Green eye shades are still used. You should eat raw green foods for good health. Friday is the day of green. Green jade is a sacred stone of Asia.

DAY 10
UNDER

I loved this picture the second I saw it. It reminded me of when I lived in Hawaii and was introduced to this incredibly healing water process called Watsu. Water is such a peaceful place. Quiet and womb-like. I have been so blessed in my life to travel and experience different cultures, traditions, and ways of life. All of these experiences not only opened my heart, but have shown me how the Divine truly is all around me.
agape, nameste, aloha,

DAY 7
STARS

DAY 6
FROM WHERE YOU ARE FROM/YOUR COUNTRY

If tomorrow all the things were gone,
I’d worked for all my life.
And I had to start again,
with just my children and my wife.

I’d thank my lucky stars,
to be livin here today.
‘ Cause the flag still stands for freedom,
and they can’t take that away.

And I’m proud to be an American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘ Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.

From the lakes of Minnesota,
to the hills of Tennessee.
Across the plains of Texas,
From sea to shining sea.

From Detroit down to Houston,
and New York to L.A.
Well there's pride in every American heart,
and its time we stand and say.

That I’m proud to be an American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘ Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.

And I’m proud to be and American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘ Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.

I LOVE this song! Every time I hear it I tear up because I it reminds me instantly that how blessed I am to have such an amazing family, friends, and to live in this spectacular nation where I as a person, citizen, and especially being a woman can speak my voice whatever it may be. I feel inspired to always speak my voice, my heart, my true essence because I know that in other places it is forbidden.  As I raise a son and daughter I am proud to let them express themselves and to teach them that EVERYONE' voice no matter how it my differ from their own is just as special, important, and true to them. We are ALL children of the Divine.
SO SO GRATEFUL FOR THIS GORGEOUS COUNTRY

DAY 5
LOOKING UP

Tonight we all laid on the floor by the tree and hung out. It is so special to me to have my little family all together relaxing, sharing their thoughts out loud.

This is my view looking up at our Christmas tree from the floor chillaxing with my crew.

DAY 4
BLACK & WHITE

I see that when I was young my life, opinions, decisions, were VERY black & white. But as the years have passed and greater responsibilities, consciousness,  and challenges arose through my journey that my heart has busted open more and more. More then I ever could have imagined. So now I see that for me everything is not black or white nor does it need to be. It is all about celebrating the view in all different kinds of light.

DAY 3
SOMETHING YOU HELD

Once upon a time these guys were so small. I got to hold them ALL THE TIME. Now we all laugh as we try to maneuver our bodies so I can hold them for just a second, because that's all they will let me. It is one of the most delicious pleasures of my life. Just because they don't let me hold them as much any more I will forever hold the precious memories of that sacred time of cuddling my little angels in my arms. ---ouch it bites.

DAY 2:
PEACE

What brings you peace? This was a simple but profound question that was asked of me and some dear girl friends last Monday night. My mind instantly answered in a kind of Autistic way- with images and pictures. It was fun to see all of them slide showing themselves to me as if I was gifting myself a PowerPoint presentation.
And then I felt to create a collage! lol
Laughing because sometimes I feel vision boards or crafty things are so juvenile. But in my heart of hearts I LOVE MAKING THEM! I have not even attempted to start it, but I do enjoy thumbing through all my magazines and cutting out words that speak to me or I feel reflect my soul and how I choose to think, love, and show up in the world.
And until I post my peace board here are just some of the images that came into my mind when I was asked what brings me peace.
