DAY 4
BLACK & WHITE

I see that when I was young my life, opinions, decisions, were VERY black & white. But as the years have passed and greater responsibilities, consciousness,  and challenges arose through my journey that my heart has busted open more and more. More then I ever could have imagined. So now I see that for me everything is not black or white nor does it need to be. It is all about celebrating the view in all different kinds of light.

DAY 3
SOMETHING YOU HELD

Once upon a time these guys were so small. I got to hold them ALL THE TIME. Now we all laugh as we try to maneuver our bodies so I can hold them for just a second, because that's all they will let me. It is one of the most delicious pleasures of my life. Just because they don't let me hold them as much any more I will forever hold the precious memories of that sacred time of cuddling my little angels in my arms. ---ouch it bites.

DAY 2:
PEACE

What brings you peace? This was a simple but profound question that was asked of me and some dear girl friends last Monday night. My mind instantly answered in a kind of Autistic way- with images and pictures. It was fun to see all of them slide showing themselves to me as if I was gifting myself a PowerPoint presentation.
And then I felt to create a collage! lol
Laughing because sometimes I feel vision boards or crafty things are so juvenile. But in my heart of hearts I LOVE MAKING THEM! I have not even attempted to start it, but I do enjoy thumbing through all my magazines and cutting out words that speak to me or I feel reflect my soul and how I choose to think, love, and show up in the world.
And until I post my peace board here are just some of the images that came into my mind when I was asked what brings me peace.

I received the most amazing gift in the mail yesterday! One of my oldest and dearest friends Brittany sent me this FABULOUS book and love note. It was such a wonderful surprise.  I am so grateful for our friendship, and the joy of knowing such a kind-hearted, truthful, giving spirit since the 3rd grade. We have been keeping in touch in and out of our journey's through this blessed life sharing, supporting, setting each other straight, giving each other the time of the moment to just listen and see what jewels of wisdom would pop up. Brittany you are one of my few kindred soul sisters. These are the relationships that I cherish, nurture, explore, and thank the divine for every day.

 EARLY VOTING BOOTH SITES
They are popping up all over our city. It feels great to have voted!  I am very anxious to see who wins. It is an important election this year to me. Women's rights of governing their OWN bodies and their futures will be completely dissolved if Romney is elected. Also people with any kind of disability and the elderly will have their quality of life diminished if the Republican party reigns.
In which case BOTH of these issues are huge in our home. The economy is a big issue also, but I believe the economy is directly tied in with women's health issues. With these  extremely important issues laying on the chopping block.
 My choice was easily made.
OBAMA
(oh, and I love him!  And the FACTS(which can only truly come from non-partisan sites, meaning NOT FOX or MSNBC) show how committed he is in continuing getting us out of the GIGANTIC mess the last administration got us into. I am proud of how he carries himself as my President and seems to be a very rational, humble, strong family man who considers his girls and their future in each decision he makes for creating a thriving country for them and everyone to participate in, contribute to, and enjoy now and in the future.)

This is just one of those pages full of personal awarenesses that I had experienced either by choosing to over come some of my deepest fears or opening my heart even more then I knew possible to the teachings of the all divine.

DAY 29
 Errand:
Take a photo of a errand you’ve done,
 or need to do,
 or something else did.
Something I did this weekend was attend the D.O.N.A doula certification in Santa Fe. It was such an empowering couple of days full of all the mental, physical, psychology, emotional, chemical, hormonal, and spiritual teachings about the birth process. I was certified through a different company 9 years ago, but I really wanted to be under this companies name because of their spectacular reputation, and history of it's birth. While I was there I was very anxious and excited because I have a momma who is effaced 100 percent, dilated to a 4 and dropped. I seriously checked my texts every 20 minutes the whole weekend. She is still waiting and I am still anxious and excited. These past few months have been a very transformational time for me. I feel AMAZING! I feel so humbled to be experiencing the continues miracles all around me.
BEING A DOULA IS DEFINITELY ONE OF MY CALLINGS.
OH, and I LOVE SANTA FE!
